Therapy Sessions

Do you provide in-person sessions?

At this time, I provide online therapy sessions only. This allows for flexibility and accessibility, no matter where you are in Washington.

Why do you schedule both a consult call and then an intake?

The 15-minute initial consultation is free and gives us the opportunity to discuss your needs, goals, and any questions you may have. It also helps determine if my practice is the right fit for you. If we decide to move forward, we will schedule a full intake session (90 mins.) to begin our therapeutic work together.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, upon request, I can provide a superbill, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance company to see if they offer out-of-network coverage for mental health services.

Confidentiality

All online platforms used for therapy are HIPAA-compliant and adhere to Washington state privacy laws, ensuring your sessions remain secure and confidential. Your personal information is protected by encrypted systems that meet state and federal requirements.

Therapy Rates and Good Faith Estimate

After your initial intake session and once we’ve established a therapy plan, you’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of treatment. This is part of the Federal "No Surprises Act", which went into effect on January 1, 2022, to ensure transparency in healthcare pricing.

Individual Therapy (1 hr.): $170

We accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account), and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards for payment using a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment system designed specifically for therapists and their clients.
